Let Your Light Shine Before Men

All of us know someone that can just light up a room with their mere presence. They are usually smiling, happy, cheerful, and glowing. You feel as if they do not have a care in the world.

Sometimes we expect other people to bring joy into our lives, but we are not bringing joy into the lives of others. When your mind is being renewed others can tell because the work done on the inside begins to show on the outside. This is referred to as a shining light. As your thoughts change, you begin to change your way of doing things.

When others see that you are changed from your old ways, then they will want to know your secret. How do you maintain happiness in the midst of a storm? This is now your oportunity to let them know that God loves them and they too can be a part of the family of God.

If your light is not shining, and you are struggling, and you are not renewing your mind, then no one is going to want what you have.

You see, THE WORD doesn't change. And we are changed by the renewing of our mind. Renew your mind and let your light shine.

• Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in Heaven. Matthew 5:16

Change Your Mind - Change Your Life

You are in control of your mind. And if you are not, you need to take control of it. The mind can be very tricky. The decisions we make are based on our minds. These decisions are based on our thoughts. The mind is separate from the brain, because the brain can be repaired by hands and the mind cannot. The mind is influenced by many different things. Some people try to control or manipulate the minds of others. This is where you have to take control and decide who and what you will allow to enter your mind.

Fear in the mind

• Fear is a negative spirit that can enter the mind, if you allow it.


• Selfishness


• Jealousy


• Hatred

And a variety of other diseases. Know that GOD has not given us a spirit of fear; but of POWER, and of LOVE, and of A SOUND MIND. 2 Timothy 1:7

The power is in all of us to accept what we want to accept, and reject what we want to reject. If help is needed for the mind then the mind becomes altered or controlled. Make sure that whatever enters your mind is positive for it's development. And be ye not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good and acceptable, and perfect will of God. ROMANS 12:2.

So, take control of your mind and change anything you want about your life.
